Jordan Hall
Jordan Hall, a member of the Kent Place School Class of 2027 in Summit, New Jersey, discovered her love for swimming years ago with the Cougar Aquatic Team. For her, swimming quickly became more than a sport- it became an escape and a space for focus, calm, and community. Wanting to share that experience with others who might benefit from it, she began volunteering with the New Jersey Special Olympics in 8th grade. Inspired by the connections she made there, she later joined K2K in 10th grade to deepen her involvement and continue making a positive impact through the water.
While her initial goal was to support the kids she worked with, Jordan found that K2K offered her just as much in return. Through her time as a volunteer, she’s developing leadership skills, building confidence, and growing more comfortable stepping into new responsibilities. The meaningful experiences she’s had (and will continue to have) have sparked a desire to take on a greater role, leading her to pursue a position as a board member. Jordan is committed to continuing her work in the water, using swimming as a tool to uplift and connect with others.
