Dominic Palumbo is a member of the Class of 2018 at Seton Hall Prep. A Morris Plains resident, Dominic is very active in his school and community. Dominic is a lifeguard at the Morris Plains Community Pool and camp counselor during the summer and travels to West Virginia with Notre Dame of Mt. Carmel Church to repairs houses each summer. He has also swam on both the Greater Morristown YMCA and Morris Plains Marlins teams for the last 12 years.
At school, Dominic is a varsity swimmer and a member of the Seton Scholar program, which entails a rigorous academic schedule. Dominic is also the Secretary of Student Council, and an officer for the Student Ambassadors. Dominic is president of the Operation Smile club and is involved with Operation Smile as a student volunteer. He has attended their leadership conference in 2016 and 2017 and volunteered on a medical mission in India in August.
Closer to home, Dominic has been a stalwart of our Kids2Kids program, donating hundreds of hours of his time over the past 4 years and helping us to recruit mentors and teach swimming lessons to our children. He’s part of our Executive Board, helping to guide the direction of Kids2Kids.
